Prospect Research

Swiedom Grant Consulting identifies funding sources that align with a client’s mission and values by utilizing grant databases and by tapping into a wide professional network.

Once prospective research is complete, the client is provided with a grants calendar that includes information on eligible grants, timelines, application details, and grantmaker contacts.

Grant Writing

The following grant writing services are provided to clients:

Revisions to past proposals and letters of interest to grantmakers as well as development of new proposals and letters. This includes proposal preparation, editing, and meetings with client.

Review of supplementary materials required for attachments such as budgets, board lists, program and organization data, and project samples.

Through research and collaboration with organization staff, develop an engaging story to communicate the community needs section of the grant application.

Correspond with prospective and actual funders prior to and after proposals are submitted in regards to deadlines, eligibility, amounts to request, and best approaches. 

Provide organization with sufficient time to review grant proposal prior to submission.

Provide organization with copies of grant applications, letters of inquiry, edited supplementary materials, and correspondence with grantmakers.
